I got quite close to this immature individual while it was feeding on a succulent fruit we locally call "mansanitas" (Kerson Fruit or Muntingia calabura).

The total length of this bird (from tip of bill to tip of tail) is less than 8 cm (3 inches). For a sense of scale, the size of the fruit being
eaten is just a bit over 1 cm across.
