Wild Birds of the Philippines in 4K (Part I)

There are over 600 species of Philippine birds, and about a third of these are endemic to our islands. Over 10% of these species are globally threatened.

By filming these magnificent winged creatures in their natural habitat and sharing the high-resolution footage, I hope that in my own little way, I can help raise awareness for the protection of their habitat.

Species List in Part I (in order of appearance):

1. Yellow-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus goiavier, resident)

2. Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus, migrant)

3. Red-keeled Flowerpecker (Dicaeum australe, a Philippine endemic)

4. Scale-feathered Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus cumingi, endemic to the Philippines)

5. Long-tailed Shrike (Lanius schach, resident)

6. Brush Cuckoo (Cacomantis variolosus, resident, immature)

7. White-throated Kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis, resident)
